Inspiring other children and helping disaster affectees

Soon after his birth, Teacher Nien-Heng Chiang was diagnosed
with three tumors inside his brain. From the age of two, he was quite
frequently in and out of the hospital’s pediatric intensive care units.
Although enduring numerous surgeries and other treatments, he never
gave in; instead, he managed to bear these courageously. He was kind,
compassionate and always attended to other’s needs. Although he
was ill, he visited other children staying in the hospital. He also asked
for donations to help the affectees of various disasters. To help others
to avoid the sufferings he had experienced, Teacher Chiang decided to
be a Silent Mentor. Moreover, he wished to spread love around, even
after his passing.
