Teacher Ching-Fa Tsai was an intelligent child. He visited the riverside
quite often to look after his family’s cattle. When he was in high school,
his conduct became unacceptable to both his family and school, yet it
didn’t last long, before he changed his behavior and returned to the
right track. After serving in the armed forces for eight years, he chose
to do fruit farming in Li Shan. On one occasion, a wholesale customer
owed him a lot of money and his business was greatly affected.
Nevertheless, Teacher Tsai resolved it peacefully. Later he moved back
to his hometown to grow bell fruit; his low key and practicality earned
him high respect among his neighbors. Teacher Chang met his wife in
his hometown and they loved each other dearly. To make the best use
of his life, Teacher Chang decided to be our Silent Mentor and wished
to give us an unforgettable class.
