Mr. HSIEH, Chin-Kun
Taking care of his colleagues and family, and serving
the needy
Teacher Chin-Kun Hsieh was the youngest child in the family, so
he was loved by everyone. He lost his father, while he was in junior
high school, and as a result, he didn’t know how to face his loss for
a while. Fortunately, his mother’s presence helped him return to the
right track. Teacher Hsieh had a high sense of responsibility, was good
at communicating with others, and took good care of his colleagues;
consequently, he was highly regarded, while working as a sales
manager. At home, he looked after his mother, and loved his daughter.
He had known Tzu Chi from the days his daughter studied at Kaohsiung
Tzu Chi Kindergarten. Teacher Hsieh volunteered at the recycling
station and served needy people. Through these participations, he
gained great joy. Teacher Hsieh wanted to nurture more humane
physicians and spread love, thus he chose to be our Silent Mentor.
