spouses, filial children, parents or other elderly family members,
I share the sadness of their loss. Volunteering in Tzu Chi is like
running a relay race; I look forward to them returning to pick up
the baton to continue the mission. They left us first, but in the
future we will be learning from them. We are all linked to each
other, forming a cycle of love.

I’m also grateful for all the teachers at Tzu Chi University.
They have respectfully taken good care of the bodies of these
silent mentors for a long time. During the clinical surgical
simulation, they teach students with love. Thus, students not
only gain medical skills from these silent mentors but also feel
their great love.

The clinical surgical simulation training at Tzu Chi University
is internationally renowned. Many medical students from
different countries come to Tzu Chi University to learn and
exchange information. It has been well–recognized for its
achievement. I hope you all treat illness as your teacher, respect
all lives, unlock the secrets of human life and broaden the path
of the medical field.
